I loveeeee weekend mornings, like everybody on earth I guess. Sometimes i feel fool of energy , grab a banana and go for a run, sometimes I’ve planned biking tour, make super smoothie, pack some healthy snacks and enjoy the ride, and sometimes I stay in the bed, for hours , couch-potato style and then treat myself and my better half with a lovely brunch.
This super easy pancake recipe, that takes 30 minutes or less is the perfect choice for those lazy weekend mornings. The pancakes themselves are like a white canva, you may add whatever flavors you like and personalize them to everyone’s taste.
Preparation time : 30 min
Serving size :4-6 persons (depends on how hungry you are)
Ingredients :
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbs melted butter
Put the flour, milk, eggs, baking powder, sugar, butter and salt in a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth (you may also use an electric mixer).
Put a large pan on a medium heat and add a knob of butter. Once that melts, add the batter, ¼ cup at a time to the hot pan. You’ll need to cook pancakes in batches, for few minutes until golden on the bottom, and you see bubbles appear, then flip over and cook for a few minutes more until they’re done.
When pancakes are golden and fluffy, serve them right away with a dollop of natural yogurt, some runny honey or maple syrup, and nuts all over the top. You may also serve them with jam or cream cheese.
Enjoy…
