This year I’m gonna post a lot of healthy recipes including various combinations of smoothies. I started training for Rome marathon which is on 10th of April, and during this time I need to fuel with plenty of healthy food to keep me going during the training and on the big day. The first day of the year started with this sunny smoothie. Orange and mango gives it the bright orange color, while banana makes it smooth and sweet. I also added the juice of half a lemon for a Vitamin C bust, walnuts for extra protein and healthy fats and one dried plum to start the year in the sweetest way.

Serving size : 2 persons
- 2 medium oranges ( juice)
- 1/2 medium lemon (juice)
- 1/2 medium mango diced
- 1 medium banana diced
- 3 walnuts
- 1 dried plum chopped
- Optional : a drizzle of maple syrup or mixed seeds
- Put all the ingredients on the blender and blend for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour into serving glasses, sprinkle some seeds or drizzle a little bit of syrup and enjoy immediately.
