Tartlets are so dear to me. They’re pretty, easy to make and come in individual size, so you make no mess when you serve them.
Lemon curd tartlets are one of my favourite desserts. The butter flavour is balanced with the fresh lemon flavour and the result is amazing. To make them even more special I added poppy seeds in the lemon curd. They look so cute and add a nice crunch and earthy flavour.
Lemon curd tartlets
To make these tartlets you simple follow the two basic recipes I have posted before on the blog.
First, you make the tart shells using this pate sable recipe.
Then, you make the lemon curd following this recipe and just add 2 tsp of poppy seeds at the end.
Pour the lemon curd on the tartlets, and let set in the fridge for about 2 hours.
