Cocoa Chia pudding


What’s the first word that comes to your mind when you hear “cocoa pudding”. For me is luscious  Now, what’s the second word that comes to your mind, when you hear “cocoa pudding”? “Hyper-caloric”  Not about this “cocoa chia pudding”.
I’ve figured out a way to make it very fast and moreover it is healthy. I usually have it for breakfast, before long biking trips. It keeps me full, is easily digested and gives me lots of energy.

I almost forgot, it is super yummy. You may easily double or triple the portions to serve more than one person.

Serving size – 1 person 


  • 1 tbs steel cut oatmeal
  • 3 tbs chia
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbs cocoa
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • A pinch of salt

Note : 1 cup – a standard cup of 240 ml


Mix all the ingredients and let them sit in the fridge in an airtight container overnight.

Enjoy next in the morning. In case you want a more homogeneous mixture just blend it with a hand blender for few seconds and enjoy.
